Shared Stage is a creative programme from WitWerks Theatre that brings together theatre, movement, live music and percussion to help children grow in confidence, communication, creativity and connection.
Led by an experienced theatre practitioner & specialist SEND tutor alongside a professional musician & music educator, every session is designed to be engaging, inclusive and accessible, with lots of different ways for children to take part, contribute and succeed.
What makes Shared Stage different is that music isn't something added at the end. It is part of the experience from the very beginning.
A professional musician works alongside the drama practitioner throughout each session, responding to the children's ideas in real time. Together, music, storytelling, movement and performance create an engaging environment where children can explore, imagine, create and grow in confidence.
Not every child wants to stand up and perform.

Theatre-maker, drama teacher and specialist SEND tutor with over 10 years' experience working with children and young people across schools, tutoring, youth theatre and creative learning settings.
Professional musician and music educator with extensive experience helping children develop creativity, confidence and self-expression through music. He has taught in the UK and the Middle East and worked as an LSA in mainstream schools.
Together, Chance and Shwan bring over 15 years of combined experience across education and the arts. Both facilitators hold Enhanced DBS certificates.
