Adventure Academy

Where Children Become the Heroes of the Story

Adventure Academy is an immersive theatre and live music experience where children step inside a story and become part of the adventure.

Led by a theatre practitioner and professional musician, each session combines storytelling, character creation, live music, movement and imaginative play.

Children solve problems, complete challenges, meet magical characters and work together to shape the story as it unfolds.

Praise for Adventure Academy

"Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect, but my son absolutely LOVED it. He came home talking about dragons, crystals and all the challenges they'd done. We heard about it all evening!"

Parent of a Year 4 pupil, Worthing

"My daughter is usually very shy and takes ages to join in with new things. Somehow she was completely hooked within about ten minutes. She already wants to know when the next adventure is."

Parent of a Year 3 pupil, Brighton

"The music made such a difference. It wasn't just a workshop, it felt like a proper adventure. My son was totally absorbed in it from start to finish."

Parent of a Year 5 pupil, Hove

"We've done lots of holiday activities and this was by far her favourite. She spent the car journey home explaining every single detail of the quest. I think I know Dragonworld almost as well as she does now!"

Parent of a Year 2 pupil, Shoreham

"My lad can be quite difficult to engage sometimes and usually gets bored after five minutes. Not this. He was straight in there, joining in, making suggestions and telling everyone what the plan should be."

Parent of a Year 6 pupil, Lancing

"What I liked was that nobody was put on the spot. The children could join in however they wanted and the facilitators were brilliant at bringing everyone's ideas into the story."

Parent of a Home Educated Child, aged 8

"My daughter came home absolutely buzzing. She'd made a unicorn, saved a kingdom and apparently become some sort of magical hero. Ten out of ten from her."

Parent of a Year 3 pupil, Worthing

"Not gonna lie, I expected a fairly standard kids' workshop. It was nothing like that. The storytelling, the music, the way the children shaped the adventure... it was really impressive."

Parent of a Year 5 pupil, Brighton
